All isha koppikar
Ishaa Koppikar (born 19 September 1976) is a popular actress and a model in India. She has acted in Bollywood, Kollywood, Tollywood and the Kannada film industry. Ishaa Koppikar was born in Mumbai, India on 19 September 1976. She went to Ramnarain Ruia College in Mumbai and studied Life Sciences. While in college, she did a model shoot for Gautam Rajadhyaksha. She took part in the 1995 Miss India Contest, won the Miss Talent Crown and modelled for L'Oreal, Rexona, Camay, Tips & Toes and Coca-Cola, among others.
Ishaa Koppikar's career started in Kollywood, where she was paired opposite Prashanth in Kaadhal Kavidai. The film was a box-office hit and won rave reviews. Her second movie was the Tamil highly-anticipated film, En Swasa Katre opposite Arvind Swamy and it was a musical hit, rendered by A. R. Rahman and a good grosser at the box-office. She then played a cameo in Prashanth's Jodi as a prospective bride. She received positive reviews for her role and decided to pursue a career in Bollywood: Her first movie was Ek Tha Dil Ek Thi Dhadkan (1997), directed by Shah Rukh Sultan, and has yet to be released. In Dil Ka Rishta (2003) she played opposite Aishwarya Rai and Arjun Rampal

Koppikar did some minor roles in Fiza (2000) and Pyaar Ishq aur Mohabbat & Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya (2001) before she got a she got a breakthrough in 2002 in Ram Gopal Varma's Company as an Item girl in the song Khallas, which earned her a nickname as a Khallas-girl. She will also feature as the female lead in Ram Gopal Varma's Shabri (2006), a movie about a woman who is set to become Mumbai's first underworld lord. Koppikar's make-up is so convincing that security and producers wouldn't let her enter the set, as they didn't recognize her.
After sizzling on the screen in the two item numbers Khallas and Ishq Samandar, Ishaa Koppikar was seen in a special appearance in 36 Chinatown. Looking better than ever, the girl is now looking forward to some power-packed roles in Don and Shabri. “I used to tell myself that I’m a girl of very good character, since I’m doing so many character roles,” she laughs. But with her forthcoming films in which the actor has much more to do than make special appearances, Ishaa might just prove that she’s ’special’ as well!

Have Some Open Pit Fun
Giant excavators, rock handlers, conveyors, explosions and a lot more enjoyment in a limestone open pit.
The open pit makes 15% of the country’s extracted fluxing limestone.
The dimensions impress – area of 1500×500 meters and depth of 50 meters. One can easily place 10 soccer fields or build a Formula 1 track.
According to geologists the reserves of limestone will suffice for 30 years more.
Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the minerals calcite and/or aragonite. The remains of paleozoic period are often found in the rock.
Bulldozer remove the upper ground layer which gets loaded on the rock handlers for further soil recultivation.
Rock cutoff.
Drilling-and-blasting operations is the most spectacular part of the extraction process.
Well borers can make a 24-meter well which corresponds to a 7-storey building.
Courageous drill-operator.
One needs special transport to deliver industrial exposives as well as a heap of permissions and armed escort.
TNT sticks are used as detonators.
About 30 holes are bored to make one explosion.
Blasting is a very important process, the open pit is surrounded and security guards are posted.
The holes are never blown up simultaneously – it may cause an earthquake.
Power shovel loads the rock into a rock handler “Belaz”.
Such scoop weighs16 tons.
Sometimes the equipment breaks down and gets fixed on-site.

Used up open pit areas are filled with limestone siftings.
Then the ground gets ploughed up and the recultivated site will be ready for agricultural purposes in several years.
12 rock handlers work here on a daily basis.
They work round-the-clock in three shifts.
A “Belaz” can carry 55 tons – more than it weighs itself.
If something falls out of the rock handler, a special bulldozer take it back to the excavating site.
