People change styles with upcoming trends but Salman is a trendsetter himself. Sure, no one can deny that. Salman began the trend of torn jeans, the long and colored hair and bracelet. Also, we all know him for his shirtless acts, although, the wax statue would be fully covered in the ‘Salman wear’. In the above picture, we see the hair samples are matched with texture and the hair color of Salman’s hair. The hair for the wax statute will be styled to match Salman’s hairstyle.

Salman Khan’s wax statue will be unveiled in London on January 15, 2008.

Salman Khan Madame Tussauds Wax Statue Pictures

Bollywood actor Salman Khan unveiled his statue in Madame Tussauds, a short while ago.

Salman's wax statue is the fourth Bollywood celebrity statue at the prestigious museum.

Amitabh Bachchan's waxwork was the first one to be displayed in 2000, followed by Aishwarya Rai in 2004 and then Shahrukh Khan's in 2007.

The actor, who has been sentenced to five years in jail for poaching, was given permission by the Jodhpur High Court to travel to London for the unveiling of his statue.

Over the years, Madame Tussauds has seen a dramatic rise in the number of Indian and British Asian tourists visiting. Big B's waxwork is one of the top three viewed figures.

Aishwarya's wax work came at a time when she was courting Hollywood. And Shah Rukh's has added to the glitz. His waxwork is positioned in the premier Blush room next to A-listers such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise and Kate Moss.

Now with the life-size figure of Bollywood's muscle man Salman Khan added to the list, it's hardly surprising that the Bollywood ranks there are swelling.

Indian tourists make up to the fourth largest group of visitors of the total 2.4 million visitors every year.

So if Salman is the new star attraction, Shilpa Shetty is seducing shoppers with her 'Signature'; Kajol and Hrithik are all dolled up for sale at Harrods, it promises to be a real Indian summer in the UK.
